leighanne and brad’s wedding day was well over 100 degrees. it wasn’t just hot, it was hottttttttt. like slap-some-bacon-on-the-concrete-and-watch-it-fry hot. and the bridal party was one of the largest i’ve photographed to date. it was a recipe for disaster. people could have passed out, been cranky, or heck, they could have just melted.
but nope. not on their day. all of their friends and family were the sweetest of people that i could have ever imagined. i was blown away. talk about an awesome group of people. throw in a few southern accents (leighanne’s from the south), some elegant details, and an overwhelming feeling of love with friends and family, and nothing else mattered – not even the heat.
here are some of my favorites from their big day at cielo castle pines.
leighanne’s dress was just the right mix of traditional and modern – and her “something blue” stitched in her dress was the perfect addition!
reception flip flops…a definite must.
most creative first look….ever. yep…ever! heheheleighanne even hid in the “loveland” locker – so fitting
yep, they’re too cute. way too cute.
shannon was an awesome second shooter! while i was getting the shots above, she was getting creative, and captured the images below.
koozies as favors? yes please!
a cute way to tie in the family past.
totally love these.
the best man and maid of honor speeches were total hits…
leighanne and brad – thank you so much for having me as a part of your day! clearly, your laughs and smiles are inspirations to all of us
