When I first met Lauren & Chris at Starbucks (because really, there will never be enough coffee in my life) three things were instantly obvious:

1. Lauren is one of those people that radiates happiness. You can just tell when you meet her – she is full of joy, life, and spirit.

2. Chris is head over heels in love with her. SO in love with her. When he looks at her, he gets this look in his eyes and has a this smirk little smile.

3. They’re adorably perfect together.

Couples like Lauren & Chris are the perfect example of why I love what I do. Every time I get a chance to spend time with couples that are as in love as these two are, I’m reminded of what life’s about. It’s so easy for us to get caught up in the little things in life – the stresses, the pressures, heck – even the dishes! But really, at the end of the day, what matters most is who you love and who loves you back. It’s that simple. From day one, Lauren and Chris have continued to remind me of that by simply being themselves.

I like to have couples think of places that mean something to them, or places they particularly love when selecting somewhere for their engagement session. Lauren & Chris found the most perfect park in Evergreen for their fall engagement session – Alderfer Park. The mix of Aspen Trees, Evergreens, and open fields was like a photographer’s dream!
