lauren and charlie are one of the most romantic couples i’ve ever met. it oozes out of them. seeing them with their friends and family is incredible – the love they have for each other is just contagious.

i’ve asked lauren and charlie to try something new with me. their story is so cute, so romantic, and so fairy tale, that i thought there was no better way to share their story than in their own words. enjoy a few of my favorites, with bits of their story, straight from the newly married couple! 🙂

 

lauren: Pink, especially fuchsia has always been my favorite color and since we were having a spring wedding I wanted to have a fun splash of color. I thought that fuchsia would be perfect for that pop of color I was looking for.

that dress is killer.

lauren: I have always known that I wanted a really simple classic/classy wedding and when I think of that I think of black and Ivory. I have also always known that calla lillies would be my only flower and I always like the way they looked in pictures of black and white weddings.

charlie: the most prominent memory for me is seeing lauren in her dress for the first time as she walked up behind me for the first look.

when i asked the couple to describe how they were feeling during their first look, they had almost identical answers, and didn’t even know it.

how. stinking. adorable.

charlie: I felt lucky and so happy and couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked.

lauren: How handsome he looked in his tux and how much I loved him and how lucky I was to be marrying him.

i told you they oozed romance. now you believe me, right?

oh, and favorite!

the little touches that lauren and charlie planned made everything just that much more perfect.

charlie’s favorite characteristic of lauren:

She knows what she wants and works hard to get it.

i think this has to be one of my all-time favorite aisle images. that look on their faces says it all.

lauren’s favorite characteristic of charlie:

That he is so spontaneous and he gets me to try things I never would have done on my own (i.e. parasailing in Mexico on the honeymoon.)

so. snuggly. i love it.

lauren: My advice to married couples would be to remember that it’s your day. Everyone is going to have an opinion on how they think things should be done but what matters most is that the two of you are happy and the day is everything the two of you dreamed it to be.
DON’T FEEL GUILTY IT’S YOUR DAY!!!! 🙂

lauren: remember to slow down and enjoy the moment. The day will fly by so remember to take time to breathe and take in the important moments.

charlie and his mom have an amazing closeness that was just so touching to watch throughout the day.

lauren and charlie – thank you so much for having me as a part of your day. to say you two are perfect for each other is the understatement of the century. i wish you two nothing but the absolute best for everything to come!
